Bluescreen
Jazz Band

Bluescreen performs "Cosmic Latte" by David Serpan at La Marinda Music, Lafayette, CA - July 2022.

Seeking to satisfy all of the nutritional needs of the audience, David and trombonist Henry Newquist started a project called "The Menu" which featured all original music themed around building a multicourse meal with fantastical dishes prepared by their respective chefs. "Cosmic Latte," named after the color of space, takes the enjoyer on a galactic journey with open, floaty, and frothy textures yet grounded in bitter and familiar flavors.
